Welcome to Radical Candor AI! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our web application ("Radical Candor AI", "Software") available at https://radicalcandor.com, which is owned and operated by Radical Candor LLC. By creating an account, accessing, or using Radical Candor AI, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use Radical Candor AI.

By using Radical Candor AI, you agree to comply with all appropriate policies, including these Terms of Use, OpenAI's Usage Policy and Anthropic's Usage Policy.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, process and keep your data safe.

Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms:

User: any registered user of Radical Candor AI

OpenAI Usage Policy: the usage policy available from time to time at https://openai.com/policies/usage-policies.

Anthropic Usage Policy: the usage policy available from time to time at https://www.anthropic.com/legal/aup.

Generated Output: output generated by artificial intelligence, including OpenAI and Anthropic

Intellectual Property Rights: patents, rights to inventions, copyright and related rights, trade marks, business names and domain names, rights in get-up, goodwill and the right to sue for passing off or unfair competition, rights in designs, rights in computer software, database rights, rights to use, and protect the confidentiality of, confidential information (including know-how) and all other intellectual property rights, in each case whether registered or unregistered and including all applications and rights to apply for and be granted, renewals or extensions of, and rights to claim priority from, such rights and all similar or equivalent rights or forms of protection which subsist or will subsist now or in the future in any part of the world

1. Radical Candor AI Services

1.1. Description of Radical Candor AI Services

Radical Candor AI is an AI-powered conversation platform that provides:

  • AI conversation practice and feedback: Radical Candor AI provides an interface for Users to engage in AI-powered conversations, receive personalized feedback, and review previous conversations
  • Performance insights: Radical Candor AI provides analysis to help Users understand their communication patterns and areas for improvement

2. Eligibility

2.1. Age Restriction

You must not use Radical Candor AI unless you are aged 18 or older. By using Radical Candor AI, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and can legally enter into and form binding contracts under applicable law. If you are under 18 and you access Radical Candor AI, you must immediately stop using Radical Candor AI.

This website is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect data relating to children.

3. Account Registration

3.1 User Registration

To access and use Radical Candor AI, all Users are required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself during the registration process. You also agree to maintain and promptly update your account information as needed.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. If you suspect any unauthorized access, you must notify us immediately at contact@radicalcandor.com.

4. Usage and Conduct

4.1 General Usage and Conduct

Radical Candor AI enables Users to engage in AI-powered conversation practice related to work conversations and communication skills.

You may not access or use Radical Candor AI for any unauthorized or unlawful purposes. Your use of Radical Candor AI must comply with applicable laws or regulations. You are solely responsible for the knowledge of and compliance with such applicable laws and regulations.

By using Radical Candor AI, you agree to comply with OpenAI Usage Policies and Anthropic Usage Policies available from time to time at https://openai.com/policies/usage-policies (OpenAI) and https://www.anthropic.com/legal/aup (Anthropic).

You agree not to engage in any activities that:

  • attempt to copy, modify, duplicate, create derivative works from, frame, mirror, republish, download, display, transmit, or distribute all or any portion of the Software in any form or media or by any means;
  • attempt to de-compile, reverse compile, disassemble, reverse engineer or otherwise reduce to human-perceivable form all or any part of the Software;
  • access all or any part of the Software in order to build a product or service which competes with the Software;
  • use the Software to provide services to third parties;
  • license, sell, rent, lease, transfer, assign, distribute, display, disclose, or otherwise commercially exploit, or otherwise make the Software available to any third party;
  • attempt to obtain, or assist third parties in obtaining, unauthorized access to the Software;
  • upload any sensitive personal data or confidential information to the Software;
  • introduce or permit the introduction of any virus into the Software or Radical Candor LLC's network or information systems;
  • access or use the Software for any illegal, harmful, or unauthorized purpose;
  • infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others;
  • input any harassing, threatening, or offensive content;
  • involve the transmission of unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, or spam;
  • impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;
  • access or attempt to access the source code, servers or database for the Software;
  • interfere with, or attempt to interfere with, the proper functioning of the Software;
  • access or attempt to influence the AI prompts, including approaches known as "jailbreaking", "prompt injection", or "prompt leaking".

5. Intellectual Property

5.1. What Radical Candor LLC Owns

Radical Candor LLC and/or its licensors own all Intellectual Property Rights in the Software. Except as expressly stated herein, this Agreement does not grant the User any rights to, under or in, any patents, copyright, database right, trade secrets, trade names, trade marks (whether registered or unregistered), or any other rights or licenses in respect of the Software.

Radical Candor LLC may use any User feedback and suggestions for improvement relating to the Software without charge or limitation ('Feedback'). The User hereby assigns (or shall or procure the assignment of) all Intellectual Property Rights in the Feedback with full title guarantee (including by way of present assignment of future Intellectual Property Rights) to Radical Candor LLC at the time such Feedback is first provided to Radical Candor LLC.

5.2 What Users Own

Users own the Intellectual Property Rights for any User Content Data input to the service, and any Generated Output generated from their use of the service.

By inputting any content to Radical Candor AI, you agree that you are responsible for and own, or have the rights to use, all of your User Content Data. You retain ownership for your User Content but agree to allow Radical Candor LLC to use your content and any Generated Output for the purpose of providing the Radical Candor AI services. You agree to provide Radical Candor LLC with all necessary licenses, including a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, sublicensable and transferable license to use, copy, publish, share, display, transmit, and store your content to provide the Radical Candor AI services.

6. Warranties

Radical Candor LLC provides the Software on an "as is" and "as available" basis. You use Radical Candor AI at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Radical Candor LLC disclaims all warranties, conditions, and representations of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including those related to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement and those arising out of course of dealing or usage of trade.

Radical Candor LLC does not warrant that:

  • the User's use of the Software shall be uninterrupted or error free;
  • the Generated Output will not infringe the rights, including Intellectual Property Rights, of any third parties;
  • the Software will meet the User's requirements;
  • the Software will be free from vulnerabilities or viruses;
  • use of the Software will produce any specific, pre-agreed results, and Radical Candor LLC is not liable for the consequences of Users relying on, or taking decisions based on, the output of the Software, including Generated Output.

7. Limitation of Liability

Radical Candor LLC shall not be liable, whether in contract (including under any indemnity), in tort (including negligence), under statute or otherwise, under or in connection with these Terms, for any loss of profit, loss of sales or business, loss of anticipated savings, loss of use, unavailability or corruption of software, loss of or damage to goodwill, pure economic loss or for any special, indirect or consequential loss howsoever arising, or for any consequences of the User's use of, or reliance on, Generated Output.

8. Termination and Cancellation

Radical Candor LLC may, in its sole discretion, terminate or suspend your access to and use of the Software, without notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to a violation of these Terms.

If you wish to cancel your account, you may do so by contacting Radical Candor AI with a request for account deletion by emailing contact@radicalcandor.com.

9. AI Usage and Limitations

Radical Candor AI uses third-party artificial intelligence (AI) services to generate conversations and feedback to provide the Radical Candor AI services.

AI can make mistakes and should not be relied upon as a sole source of guidance, or as a substitute for expert or professional advice.

You acknowledge that the Software contains artificial intelligence that generates Generated Output, which is outside the control of Radical Candor LLC. Generated Output can infringe intellectual property rights, breach applicable laws or have other undesirable consequences, and, as further set out in these Terms, Radical Candor LLC accepts no liability for the content of Generated Output or the consequences of any reliance on Generated Output.

10. Additional Radical Candor LLC Rights

  • Radical Candor LLC reserves the right to modify the Software at any time, without notice or liability
  • Radical Candor LLC reserves the right to remove any User Content data at any time, without notice or liability
  • Radical Candor LLC reserves the right to access a User's account in order to provide technical support, without notice or liability
  • Radical Candor LLC reserves the right to view a User's conversations to improve Radical Candor AI services.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, process and keep your data safe.

12. Notification of Changes and Acceptance of Terms

We keep our Terms of Use under review and will place any updates here. This version is dated October 1st 2025.

By using Radical Candor AI, you agree to comply with the terms set out in this Terms of Use. Continued access or use of Radical Candor AI will constitute your express acceptance of any modifications to this Terms of Use.
