Radical Candor Podcast Checklist: The Art of Storytelling at Work

1. Show, don't tell. Don't allow yourself to get into kind of sloppy abstractions. Think very specifically about the situation and why it mattered.
2. Story listening is just as important, if not more important than storytelling, especially if you're a leader. We all have unique, specific stories to tell, and the best way to understand your company's vision and values is through your employees' words behaviors and passions.
3. To make sure that your persuasion is persuasive. Follow Aristotle's credibility, logic and emotion model. Make sure you're explaining why you have credibility, that you're sharing your logic, and most importantly, that you're addressing the emotions of other people, not your own emotions.
